A Rainbow in humans

A week ago, everyone was ecstatic in Delhi-NCR because of a rare sight. Social media was filled with photos of a rainbow that appeared after heavy rainfall and a storm. It motivated  people to continue and endure through the dark times.

The seven colours had together formed a perfect curve and an amazing view that had brought smiles to everyone’s face!

These colours in a way represent an emotion or characteristic of humans.

Violet – a symbol of imagination and dreams; Indigo - a symbol of devotion and wisdom; Blue - a sign of confidence and stability; Green – representing harmony and peace; Yellow - signifies happiness and positivity; Orange - reflects creativity and enthusiasm whereas Red is the colour of sacrifice and love.

These characteristics together sound very moral and so is the person who holds them. A person who possesses all these qualities is like a rainbow. He will always be pleased with himself, succeed in making others happy, and will be a rare personality.

The most important thing to keep in mind is that diligence and commitment result into a successful person, just like the wind and rain go into the making of a spectacular rainbow.

God has given everyone a capability; it is the effort that makes a change. Afterall, “Everyone wants happiness, no one wants pain but there cannot be a rainbow without any rain”

But not everyone can be a rainbow, because it is rare. However, the one thing that everyone undoubtedly can be, is a raindrop. A raindrop does not know where it is falling, but wherever it falls it creates cheers and chill. Let us all be such drops of water, spreading happiness around us always.

Just like many drops help in formation of rainbows, millions of us can be the reason for others to grow, glow and attain rare positions!

It is time to determine whether we have become rainbows or we are a rainbow in making?
