Seeing Life through a Pizza

I am sure that most of us have either eaten or seen a pizza.  Try imagining one! A pizza base - loaded with cheese inside and over it; the toppings - red tomatoes, green capsicum, white onions, black olives, green jalapeno, golden corns and red paprika and so on.  All these different coloured and different flavoured toppings are spread on top of the same cheese without discrimination again their colour or taste. A Rainbow in humans

A week ago, everyone was ecstatic in Delhi-NCR because of a rare sight. Social media was filled with photos of a rainbow that appeared after heavy rainfall and a storm. It motivated  people to continue and endure through the dark times. The seven colours had together formed a perfect curve and an amazing view that had brought smiles to everyone’s face! These colours in a way represent an emotion or characteristic of humans. Violet – a symbol of imagination and dreams; Indigo - a symbol of devotion and wisdom; Blue - a sign of confidence and stability; Green – representing harmony and peace; Yellow - signifies happiness and positivity; Orange - reflects creativity and enthusiasm whereas Red is the colour of sacrifice and love. These characteristics together sound very moral and so is the person who holds them. Humane branding

One month ago, when I was not ready to eat outside food because of the fear of the virus, my uncle asked me, “Will you eat samosas from a nearby shop?” I immediately refused, saying that the shop would not have good hygiene, but it was mostly because I had never heard of that local shop. Then my uncle offered to order some pizzas from a restaurant and I agreed without even thinking because I had seen the advertisements of that eating joint on television. It is quite ironical that not long after that day, I found my Civics book of the previous year. That book had a chapter wherein it was mentioned that because of branding and advertising, people tend to buy the things that were advertised and had logos of a particular company.
