Seeing Life through a Pizza

I am sure that most of us have either eaten or seen a pizza.  Try imagining one! A pizza base - loaded with cheese inside and over it; the toppings - red tomatoes, green capsicum, white onions, black olives, green jalapeno, golden corns and red paprika and so on.  All these different coloured and different flavoured toppings are spread on top of the same cheese without discrimination again their colour or taste. Just like this, all people of the world in spite of their colour or characteristics are nowadays immersed in the risk of same enemy - Coronavirus. The pizza base is the world with corona (just like cheese) spread all over and we, the diverse people of the world, are the various multi-coloured and multi-flavoured toppings.  This little virus has caused over 315 thousand deaths all over the world. A line of diyas

During Diwali season, a girl and her family had bought different types of sweets. All of them were wearing brand new clothes and decorating their house. They had decorated the entrance to their house with rangolis and flowers. These are five diyas – One is for my grandmother; I pray that you give her the best living experience for her remaining years for life. The second one is for my grandfather; I pray that he too enjoys his remaining years in the company of such a grea...

I have two cubes, one a little old and cheap one; and the other a bit new and expensive. The first cube started creaking after some weeks; it was really smooth at the beginning but slowly it turned rough and started making funny noises. My first cube was the cheaper one but I was really happy to have it. The other cube is still in the same condition till now. It is as smooth as cream and makes no noise or disturbance. Gradually I started having more interest in solving the expensive one. Now it took over the place of my first cube. And now I rarely wish to solve the old one. I keep my new cube in a special drawer whereas the other one lies wherever it finds a place.  Today these cubes taught me the reality of life! In reality, the common people want to express their voice, thoughts and feelings, but what is heard ...
