Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder

It was a beautiful evening; the colour of the sky was mesmerising. A child decided to go for a walk to the park.

He was on his way when he saw a group of girls deciding who would be leading their team in the interschool quiz competition to be held the next day. The five friends who he saw, turned from friends to enemies just because of an argument.

The child started walking ahead thinking, how a disagreement could turn love into hate.

He reached the park where some boys were playing a game; and one boy pushed the other. The boy who pushed perhaps, would have known that it was wrong to hurt others, yet he did it for his own entertainment. The child observed this scene and was shocked. He felt an urge to help the boy who had been hurt. Soon, a few people came and provided first aid to the injured boy.

The child on the stroll was tired by then, and proceeded to sit at the bench. A man was already sitting there with his face in his hands and probably, tears in his eyes. The man told the child that he had been fired from his job that day. The boy could feel the negativity and sadness in the man’s voice.

He decided, it was getting late and chose to go home.

While going back home, he kept on pondering on the events he had witnessed today evening. he came to a conclusion and realised a very important fact that everyone should consider.

“Love has four letters and so does Hate,
Friends has seven letters and so does Enemies,
Agree has five letters and so does Argue,
Help has four letters and so does Hurt,
Negative has eight letters and so does Positive”

Many people say “Life is beautiful” yet only few see the beauty of life and others don’t understand that they just have to have the positive eyes. Because if your eyes are beautiful, you will like the world and if your tongue is beautiful, the world will like you.

Everything in this world is the same, the only difference is just the way you look at. Thus, goes the saying “Beauty lies in the eyes of the beholder”
